Mister Cat-head

Mister Cat-Head has been a significant part of 2023-4. Made by Naomi Nomespotter, the head is made of papier-mache, fake fur, and theatrical artistry. I wear him with pride during regular Dancing Monsters processions in Adelaide. His eyes scare infants, while older children (and adults) approach without fear to pat him / me on the head, which always takes me by surprise. When he is on me, I become another creature, one that is also loud and blind, and only semi-aware of the effect I am having on my surroundings.
